During my sophomore year of college, my roommate invited me to church. After a few months of one excuse after another, I randomly decide to go with her. That one random decision changed my life. I remember seeing the hands and faces of people genuinely worshipping God and that blew me away.
I remember sitting in the presence of God and just being in awe of Him and that He had led me to His dwelling place because He just wanted me to know Him.
It wasn't about religion anymore; it was about a relationship.
I felt free. I felt accepted. And most importantly, I felt loved.
His Spirit was moving.
I became a Christian a few months after attending church.
The Lord has completely transformed me inside out from being unsocial and unmotivated to giving me confidence and joy.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
